I'm thinking of using Lamb's Pride Cotton Fleece to make a baby blanket, but I'd like the blanket to be machine washable.  Have any of you had any luck in machine washing cotton fleece?  It's a yarn I've never used before.

I've washed and dried it but on low temperature.  I've made the ballet tank from loopDloop and also made a baby blanket out of it.  It is very soft and not as heavy as pure cotton.

Thanks linda63pt -- the person I'm making this blanket for is the type who would take care of it well, I just don't want to give a new mom something that's hard to care for.  She also has a fancy new washer and dryer with all kinds of settings, so I'm starting to think it might be ok.

You haven't had any issues with the wool content felting?

No, I haven't and I haven't heard anything from the recipient of the blanket.  The person at my LYS said that it washes well and that is what I have experienced so far.

I have socks from Cotton Fleece and from Cotton Fine (same as cotton Fleece but thinner than worsted weight). I machine wash them in cold water and air dry and have no problems with them. (I don't usually machine dry my handknit socks)

Cotton fleece should wash and wear pretty well.  I might not dry it on a super hot setting, but otherwise it is generally fine, and wears like iron!

Thanks.  I'm trying to pick out colors right now.  One of the reasons I wanted to use this yarn is because of the incredible color choices!
