I hit "this rocks" on those eyes alone! and then the fabric choice... but the mouse, that's great! Not creepy, owls are carnivores!

This is gorgeous and the emery mouse was a stroke of genius. I can't imagine using it as an actual pin cushion, it's too damned pretty!

I loved your owl and mouse. Do you use the mouse to sharpen your pins? That would be kind of creepy, but the owl is already using it to sharpen its claws.

That's my owl! He's in my house. I am the lucky recipient of this wonderful guy! I want to use him as a pin cushion, but he is so darn creepy cute I just don't know. I have him on a shelf with other owls right now. Later maybe I will muster up the nerve to poke a needle in him. Love him so much and the little mouse just makes the whole thing!

You did a great job cutting the fabric to work with your design.

Great work.

This guy is great. I love all the detail.
I don't know if I'd stick pins in him, he's way too cool for that. Sticking the mouse once in awhile might be fun tho.

I would never have thought to use Batik in a way to actually make shapes...it's usually so abstract and I'm like, how do I use this except to hang on a wall or to make some beach wrap? but that is amaaazinnggg
