Ok now, as you know very well I did not create this things but I love the shape and it has a great potential as a gift wrap or as a make up pouch or even as a nice summer handbag.. Anyways, I found a tutorial on a site a week ago and immediately I sew two pyramid bags to use as gift wrapping which is a great to full with little crafty things.. But when I want to referto the tutorial again, I noticed that they took off it and replaced it with something else. See I was lucky to drew some basic instructions on a piece of paper and sew two! So I searched for it here and on google but nothing came up but as a tutorial (a few finished photos of the bag but no tutorial).. And I decided to put a tutorial here.. Anyways, I am talking too much.. If it is a some kinda copyrigthed metarial (such as published on a book and designed by someone and not anonymous) let me know and then I can tell the moderators to took this off.. So here you go:

Note: At some point, you need to add a little ribbon handle but I couldn't figure out how to do it properly and it came out a little weird, so i didnt show it on tutorial since i dont have any idea about how to do.

I am really sorry that the actual tutorial I learned from does not exist now. They replaced the page with another thing like a chair cover or something, anyway.. you are lucky that in craftster blog Leah referred to that tutorial and while she did she put a pic of the purse, here is the link of that blog entry Leah did:

hope this helps and when you finish with your room don't forget to show off here  Wink

Horray for the Internet Wayback Machine! http://web.archive.org/web/20041011190530/mariessewing.com/PatternsNew.htm I knew I had seen this somewhere. Thanks TinyBits for your tutorial. I think I may have this on in a magazine at home as well...I shall have to search.

I forgot to post here that I followed the tutorial for a lined verion of this for the One Tiny Thing swap. The only thing I wasn't happy with was I didn't compensate enough for the zipper so the angle isn't perfect. Tongue
