About 2 years ago, my mum picked me up from school and on our usual route home we saw a yard sale. As she was curious, we stopped and rummaged through the items. She found many treasures as did I. Before we left, the friendly lady running the sale gave us freebies and among them were two, 10", dusty, unfinished shelves.

For a while they were sitting on the counter useless and I was next to them bored... so I decorated them!

...Easter ready! Wheres the eggs?...

Marabou, paint, fabric and small details were added. The backs of both are open. I glued some felt to the back so they wouldn't ruin the wall. I also put some on the bottom panel so that I could have a hiding spot for a little sumtin sumtin... shhh... don't let the cat outta the bag on my secluded spot Lips sealed

...Some candy could go there. Mmmm... chocolate!...

...Or a secret key...

Mum tucked them away in a cabinet because she likes them. I was thinking about giving them away or selling them but she didn't even want to hear it. For them to be practical, holes need to be drilled for mounting.

...They sure would stand out on plain, white walls. My room...

You could tell how bored I was by that slugger. I made the snail from hot glue that leaked from the gun and I painted black dots for eyes. Hope you like them!

Happy crafting Wink
