That is soooo awesome!! I vote you should add a denim cuff or something but don't use the whole pocket all the way up near the collar, far too much. I also like the idea of having it on the back like real jeans... poor you what a hard decision!!!

I may be showing my age with this one, but, how is this 90s? I was there. I graduated high school in '92.

90's probably because of the popularity of making things out of used jeans (skirts, purses, pillows, etc.) and just the popularity of demin in general (i regretfully remember thinking how cool i was in my jean skirt, denim botton up, and jean jacket all layered together!)

Back to the sweatshirt...i think the pocket is okay but I really liked the elbow patch idea...it brings some interest, and of course denim embellishment, to the back ;o)

im not sure what im doing about the pockets yet
but i remembered that i had an old jean jacket that was wayy too small
in my closet, so im ripping the button cuffs off and sewing them on the cuffs
but i bleached the jacket so they aren't the same color as the collar
so ill have to redye them
but it will look awesoem

ooh, I love it how it is now, but I kind of like it more with the pocket on it
maybe it could be on the sleeve instead of the chest though

I used to have a shirt like that from the 90s and it had little patches on the elbows

I think that it is awesome without the pocket! I think that the pocket would just be a little bit too much.
