This is a bit random, but I notice that Joss Whedon has been writing for various X-Men things lately... that might offer some extra swap options!

I too love Buffy. But can't think of what to make. THe show is so clever, witty, provocative, insightful, etc. How do you turn that (or harness that) into a handbag? Would people be willing to share some of their ideas/suggestions or would that be cheating?

I love the swap idea and the challenge of it, but I'm stunned about how to turn my favorite elements of the show (the puns, wittiness, cultural critique) into something I could make.  Undecided

Any thoughts,

There are tons of things you can make!  You can just take some great quotes from the show and go from there.  There is also a lot of mystical objects you can try to copy (Urn of Osirus anyone?).  My best advice is to take a theme and go from there like Sunnydale school supplies or a vampire slaying mini kit.  Just take a look at some of the visual themes (crosses, runes, buffy's fashions) and that might help the ideas flow.

some of my ideas are a mr. pointy plushie..knitting needle/stake kit..complete with trendy yet goth needle case, a blank slayer diary. Glasses etched with the buffy or angel logo, perhaps?
