ok I did that a lot quicker than I thought

So, Auntiem was interested in a pair of crochet slippers, so I crocheted some up. She told me that she was a beginning crocheter so I tried to find a pattern that was simple and was instant satisfaction. Definitely instant! I completed them in four hours and that was with getting up and moving around.

I included a packet that taught the beginning steps of crocheting along with some other patterns that kind of took baby steps to the slipper pattern. I'm sure she'll have no problem being as knitting is harder than crocheting.

Unfortunately, I couldn't include the bulky yarn the pattern called for (b/c there doesn't seem to be much of a call for it here in Texas) so instead I included my own handspun. 4oz of Superwash Merino top, handdyed from Spincerely on Etsy.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for being a wonderful recepient! It was fun :]

Oh my! it is handspun! Thank-you ever so much! My boss is fondling the yarn as we speak, hmmm I may have to tackle her to get it back she's getting that dreamy look on her face like she is trying to decide what to make with it.

I sent a help ticket to a swap mod. They should be fixing this problem.

It is official - me and my SO are in love with my slippers - they actually stay on while I'm sleeping and they are just warm enough, but not too hot. Thank-you again!
