Hello!  I took Merwing's scrapbook cover pattern from her book - Doodle Stitching and made it a notebook cover instead - It's my joy journal - how can you not smile when you look at it!  Cheesy Thanks for looking!
I made a pencil holder on the inside -

This is adorable!  May I ask where you got the pattern for the journal cover?  It's a great idea.  Did you use felt?

I saw your comment on my pin cushion and wanted to say thank you. You should try it, you can use it for your embroidery needles Cheesy

I love what you did with this pattern as a notebook cover instead of a photo album. When I first got the book I saw this pattern and I really like it but remember thinking to myself... "who keeps photo albums anymore?" Lol, being a college student and note-keeping junkie a notebook cover is the best idea I've heard! I'm definitely going to take your lead on this one Cheesy I also love your pencil holder!

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

So I'm one of those people who always talks to my computer screen when I see people post questions that have already been answered.  "Oh, couldn't take the time to read the full post, huh?"  "What, you need the answer directed at you or it doesn't count?"  I don't own the Doodle Stitching book, which is why I didn't put 2 and 2 together.  The pattern is in the book.   Smiley  It's still adorable!
