It's actually from a kit my mom sent me while I was working on cruise ships. It's a little too "happy" for me, but I'm really excited about it for the following reasons:

-it's a rectangle
-though the quilting is totally messed in a million places, it looks great! (it's just quilted in diagonal squares)
-the binding came out really well thanks to a video how-to on youtube
-it's replacing my fiance's ugly-ass mexican blanket that's all pil-y with the warp showing

It's gorgeous. The colors are very springlike and classic, and I'm jealous of the perfect points on your stars. Beautiful!
