I made one of these for my husband for V-day last year. I was pretty broke and came up with this as a creative, romantic idea. I put things in about him as well as romantic quotes and dates, etc that were special to us.

Two romantic poems we like are "He wishes for the Cloths of Heaven" W.B. Yeats and "Let me not to the Marriage of true minds admit impediment" - Shakespeare.

I also made one for my friend for her birthday. I called it a friendship jar and put in quotes about friendship and reasons why she is cool e.g "You are a wonderful aunt".
