Hi Philly Folks!

I'm looking for some fun and crafty events in the area - big craft fairs, little school/church basement craft sales, etc.  Please post here if you know of anything on the horizon!

Many thanks!

I almost went there for high school.  Don't know if I would like to go into those halls again.  They is always one in the fall out here at Valley Forge, sometime in late September.  I haven't attended so I don't know what kind of people will be there.  Also in Phoenixville, around the FireBird Festival, they look for crafters which is mid-December.  I see little church ones pop up but sometimes I'm afraid that they are too kitschy for my tastes, don't know about anyone else.

I know there is one up in reading this weekend and in the Fall they have one in Litiz that is supposed to be amazing but I've missed it every year.

This is great!  Thank you so much!  I missed the original post from padoxiegirl - I am excited about that, especially when I see the words "Band Parent Association"!  I'm a lifelong band nerd, so supporting crafts and band at the same time is awesome!

Thanks for the posts!

I was totally a Band nerd too.  And I would rather support a small organization.  I'm always looking for events around the area so I'll put them up when I come across them.

Gloucester City is currently looking for crafters for the Rock and Roll revival on June 21st.  Last year the concert had around 2000 people.  This year the headliners are Gary US Bonds, Charlie Gracie, Full Blown Cherry, and a couple other bands.  Hoping for some rockabilly and art as well as "traditional crafts".
