mmm another easy sweater-cardigan recon!
just cut down the centre, hemmed the raw edges. and then sewed the lace on, with little pleats around the neckline.
started with this...

and became this...

commments?

It's totally almost steampunk... all you need is a good cameo closure at the neck, and you're rocking the age of iron.  I love it!

oh wow, thanks for all of the lovely feedback! i just popped back on here, and found all of these comments =D

I'm not quite sure how many yards it took....I bought this bundle of lace for 50p (about $1). But I think it was about one and a half. I know it took like, 76 inches to get round all of the pleats...

what did you use for closure?
or you didn't use any.... Tongue
i love it
There's not a closure at all at the moment... I made it for my sister (she bought it from me for £3.00 [$6.00] Tongue) and she didn't want any closures on it. But I did something like this before with a green cardi, and less lace and just sewed on some buttons, and put button loops on. I was too lazy for buttonholes Tongue
