This idea came to me in the givers and needers swap. What if you have craft supplies from one type of crafting but would love to try a new craft. For example maybe you tried cross stitch and decided it wasn't your thing or you don't want to do it anymore but you bought all the supplies. Now you want to try....I don't know.. rug hooking but you don't want to spend a ton of money on all the supplies to try it.
How about a swap were you trade the supplies you have for one craft for a different one?

Just an idea.

there was a swap similar to this awhile back - i think it was something like a craft kit swap...  but you could search for it and see if it's what you're looking to do, then do another round Smiley

i care about you a homemade oven mitt's worth.

Sounds neat! There are so many crafts I want to try, but can't because I don't have supplies and feel bad for buying them when I have other supplies to use.

(Check me out Cheesy)

( I have my own website to blog on about craftiness! :DD)

Great idea . . . it is also good for those of use who have tried many crafts and have over accumulated supplies!

It isn't as specific, and you never know what's going to show up, but you could join the Ongoing Offer-What-You-Have Swap...

We in that swap would probably be all over your craft kit like a pack of piranhas!   Grin

This crafter is out of service most of the rest of 2015 due to a wild schedule, swapping once in a while when I can't fight the feeling anymore ("I've forgotten what I started fighting fooooor...").
Personal swaps: I have lots of home-grown rosemary and white sage available, plus altered journals.

I checked out the ongoing offer swap but I was thinking more that you would trade crafting supplies. There seems to be alot of random odd stuff posted on there. I'm one of thoes people who sees a craft done somewhere and decided they have to try it, then after buying all the stuff decide I don't like it., or I get borred with it.  So I have lots of craft supplies. I'd want to trade for another craft.
