You also both love Vintage patterns! OH MY!

I tried to pair everyone up the best I could and let me tell you, that is more trying than it appears to be.

You've done quite well on the pairing! It's bizarre, but all the ideas I had (but needed colors) will work perfectly for bug lady!

I didn't sign up for this swap because work is keeping me busy.  I will watch this one though...  I'm anxiously awaiting warmer weather for road riding.  I have some ideas for stuff I'd like to make myself...   Look forward to seeing what you guys come up with!!  And will watch for another round.

Dude - not being able to ride all the time would suck. Have all you snowbound people seen the Surly Pugsley Bike? http://www.surlybikes.com/pugsley.html big fat tires and frame for riding in ANY condition.

periwinkle rims, and crank shafts, an bianchi green tape. Going to get a matching green water bottle holder tomorrow to complete it!

and Cassey, sorry I never got you a pic, i was fixin this little baby up! I will probably be riding this one more, hope it doesn't mess anything up! I will figure out where i'm gonna put the lights, and then send you some

hope you all like, mammas proud!

ohhh, and this used to be a bike that my deceased uncle owned...so again, a family heirloom bike!

I LIKE the handlebars! What's that shape called? It looks a million times comfier than the drops I have on my road bike right now. (I have never gotten used to drops, I grew up with the old style English bikes with North Road handlebars...)

they are called tourist style handle bars, and yes, they are SO much more comfy! I don't get really bad neck-aches! We were going for a more vintage 1910 style bike, Major Taylor style. And My tires are like, and inch thicker than my other ones, so I can actually balance on this and ride without hands! I seriously have been riding everywhere again, I guess new bikes do that!

Wicked bike!
Thanks to Bike Swap I have been constantly telling boy about how we neeed old fixer up-ers. I think he likes the idea because I keep explaining how much it will teach me about bikes!

As for my drops, I don't mind them but I would way rather ride on the horns.. I think I would mis the horns if I changed my handle bar style.

As for those Valentines, I wish I'd thought of that! I'm always drawing boy really bad renditions of his bikes!
