I'm trying to figure out if I would be considered in central or southern CA?   Huh  Or at least were the majority of the people from my area if they're posting in here are posting.  If that makes since... thanks!

From the looks of the map in this section, I'd say it's central ? the dividing line follows the split between Ventura and Los Angeles counties (yes I looked at a map ? I love maps!)
Then again, where you want to post probably depends on what part of the county you're from, how far you're willing to go if there's some event or something, and  whether you feel more of an affinity for the area north or south of you (I'm from Santa Barbara, btw).

Thank you!
That was what I was gathering from the map too.  So being in S.B. where do/would you look for local stuff?

I guess it depends on what crafts you do ... there are two relatively newish yarn shops here in Santa Barbara (Cardigans and Loop & Leaf), have been to the latter one  and its pretty cool but I didn't buy since my stash is kinda large. As for fabric, these days I just like to scour the thrift stores for interesting patterns for small projects, although not all of them carry fabric.

I've always considered Ventura Southern, and SB Central... but that's just me Smiley

I consider Ventura County Southern California...I'm from Central California and have always considered Bakersfield the border for Central and So Cali.

I would agree that Ventura is Southern- but when you look at the map- it is Central.

I think  it is hard to split the state into thirds.
