So I haven't posted anything in forever!!! Call it a dry spell, call it school, work, the boyfriend, the planning of a wedding... call it life, but I haven't made anything in a looong time.

Finally though, with the help of E.r.i.k.a.'s post here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.msg187145#msg187145 I was able to break the spell and make a wonderful little clutch for my friend's secret santa gift. (We're a bit late as we just had our xmas dinner and gift exchange this past weekend... better late than never!)

It took a couple of hours due to the details I added. I wasn't going to add the embroidered name on the back due to time but couldn't not add it - personalized gifts are the best.

So, here are the pics. I'm super happy the way it turned out and Santina loved it too. Smiley

I ain't here to break it...
just see how far it will bend.

Love the way the brown flowers are contrasted against the denim and strips!

This is lovely. I think I might have to make myself a pencil case like this! But I might do the flowers out of felt... I might even do butterflies or hearts... Thanks for the idea and well done!

Wow! Really cute! I love the flowers, like everyone else and your embroidery looks fantastic.  Cheesy
