I got my package today from mommyslittlebadass!!! Everything totally rocked, she did an awesome job on everything!!! So here are the pics:


At about 10ish this morning i got a knock on my door from my neighbor saying there was this box at my door (we are in an apartment)

The leftover material (pillowcase!) and felt!! I plan on making a whole frog family lol!

wow - that is some seriously great loot - I love the nesting dolls - I have a fondness for them and scored a few sets of them at Value Village in one of those weird bag lots they are famous for.  I felt like I was robbing them when I left with that bag of loot!
Awesome shopping skills there - not to mention crafting skills.

Have I said recently how much I adore this swap???

I just left the house, wearing my pajamas, got in my car and tracked down the mailman.  Dang dude did not pick up my package!!!  grrrr.  It is gone now though - safe and sound.  He *claims* that he did not get the pickup call... well that explains why it was left.  I just think he was pulling a Newman on me and just not wanting to do his job... 

Okay. That was my fun for the day.  I think I am officially awake now after that blood pumping chase through the neighborhood.

I am totally LMAO at the image of pajama-clad you dashing through the streets to track down the mailman! Please tell me you're wearing curlers in your hair and foofy slippers on your feet! (because you are in my imagination -- wait....that doesn't sound good, does it?.... )

No curlers this time around - I did have slippers on but I changed them to my slip on shoes because I had to actually get in the car to track down the mailman. He was gone faster than I could get across the house...

mommys little badass you have just won the invisible prize for coolest gallery posting with budget included.  What a great way to show off the cost of your loot!!

That corelle cup - that green pattern is the same one my mother had when I was growing up. When I moved out on my own she sent me the gold pattern as a start up and I tell you what I could not wait to get rid of them!  I do have a corelle set but they are the restaurant ones - they are really pretty.  I fell in love with them when I saw them and have had them for years now... although I did have to buy regular bowls since they came with those flat bowls that are great for chili but terrible for cereal... next I will be getting a set of the saucers - which are perfect for like a slice of cake...

okay.
now I am hungry. between talking about different plates and food and being on fairly high doses of steroids. mmm.  time for a snack.
