UntouchableFace - That zombie box is fantastic!

CraftyDeb - I am such a sucker for odd cups and mugs. I have a huge collection of seventies mugs that will soon be turned into pincushions for craftshows this spring.

I think taking a picture of the starting items is a cool way to show how the items started. But I guess it only works if you bought it all at once or something.

I just realized that I didn't post a pic of the box! It went into immediate use, so I totally forgot to add it to the pic! Thanks for adding it!

How much did the yarn cost? That is just an amazing amount of yarn!!

Sounds like that box really could not have come at a better time!

That is the best part of it!
The three sweaters ($1.50) became all that yarn...

How awesome is that?

Yeah, I'm sure the post Lady thought I was crazy when she walked up I was almost in tears then when I realized what she had I was doing the happy dance.  My Mom and Hubby just watched and shook their heads...

Oh my god - she went waaaaaaay above the call of duty and created you recycled yarn?  Oh my god that is just awesome!  I knew she was amazing but dang!  That is really really amazing!
I have yet to do that.  I keep saying I will - I bought a nice soft chenille sweater I have been meaning to frog up.

They look so nicely wound.  Mine would like like mad balls of lumpy yarn Grin

They are all amazing! I cannot imagine frogging a sweater...let alone *three* sweaters!

The box for brains is brilliant (and I don't even like zombies!)!!

Yay for great swaps!!

I'm glad it made you smile after that day. I thought you would enjoy that jacket more if I left it alone. It has so many possibilities & I'm not the greatest seamstress. FYI I ran it thru the washing machine twice (my cat wouldn't stay off it) so you can machine wash the leather cuff & it won't hurt it.

all I can say is yarn ball winder.....invest in one if you want to start recycling

did you take a pic of those sweaters beforehand?  those colors are just fabulous - I was so in to wanting to try the recycled yarn and now you have me all ready to do it again.... hmmm.  I am planning on going to the second hand store on Sunday possibly... hmmmm

ball winder - I really should get one.  In my line of work I do A LOT of frogging.  In fact I have an entire baby blanket to frog and start over.  Literally the entire thing.  I hated the color of it and hate to waste all that yarn so it will be tossed aside until I get to frogging it....
