I made a vinyl record notebook for a swap a few months ago,  but of course, records are round and notebooks are rectangular. I didn't want to throw the extra pieces away, so this is what I made:



The bottom 2 pieces were melted together. I wanted it to swivel, so I separated the top 2 pieces with black copper wire. I burned holes for earrings, and it's attached to a shelf in my closet using thumb cuffs. It looks a lot prettier with stuff on it.


there's even a place to keep your ponytail holders. (i tend to lose mine easily.)

This is really cool!  Way to use scraps of recycling.  Is that recycled recycling?  Hmm!

that is totally AWESOME. i've done stuff with record before but only bending them into bowls...how did u cut them?
