This is my first attempt at a baby blanket and crocheted lace.  The main body of the blanket is actually a deep green, the lighting isn't the greatest.  The lace is an offwhite/bone color with a watermelon pink edging and i WAS going to put some yellow picots on it ... but I got lazy (and by lazy i mean frustrated! hah!) and finished up from there.

So lemme know what you think!  This is my first post and I'm nervous because there is a lot of talent going on in these message boards!!!  Thanks for any input!

Oh thanks so much!  The one problem I have in all my projects is trying to put together a legit color scheme!  baby blankets go so fast, though!  i only have a handful of friends with babies, and they all have like 25 blankets each for their little ones! i definitely go overboard! good luck with your baby blankie!

That's beautiful! And even though the lighting isn't great, the colorscheme seems to work well.

Oh, and don't worry about all the talent, if you're stuff is usually half as good as this then you're well in-line with the rest of the talent here!

Nice job on that lace! It really adds a nice touch to the finished blanket.
