Hair Club for Babies (crocheted version of hallowig)

I made a crocheted hallowig in bright purple a few years ago for my daughter while she was in college.  She really liked it, but I never got a photo of it. 
Recently I saw a baby-sized knitted Hallowig, and was re-inspired (is that a word?).  I have the CUTEST granddaughter, but at 11 months old, she's still nearly hairless!  So, of course, she needs a crocheted wig.
So here's what I've made for her, now just need to try it on her (she lives about an hour away...  )

Hi, I'm new to the board. Did the tutorial for this ever appear? I've seen the knitted instructions on knitty.com but would really like the pattern for crochet.
