OMG I squeeled when I saw this!!! I too LOVED this book as a child.  And I read it to my kids now!!!  This really does rock!

Thanks so much!  I'm so glad everyone loves that book as much as I do!  As for the yarn I used, I truly don't remember.  It was just in a basket at the dollar store, and I rolled it into a ball when I got home.  That was about a year ago.  It's just a tangly novelty yarn, similar to lionbrand homespun, but a little more coarse.

I LOVED this book as a kid.  Last year, I was at a grocery store at saw it at the check out - and I bought it.  Ahhhh.

i love him!! i had a grover when i was a kid. i remember when his nose fell off, i took him to the doll hospital and they put a plastic gorilla nose on him!! i loved him anyway.
