Normally I wouldn't use color pencils to knit but I left my DPN in my desk at work. ( I work at a school ) And of course it's a snow day... What better day to be crafty.

That's such a good idea! I always manage to lose one or two of my DPNs, might have to start using pencils, they're so much cheaper xD And the wrist warmer looks very cute Smiley

very cute...

and a good use for coloured pencils when you are not using them for drawing - I like things that are multi-functional  Cheesy

Yknow, as soon as you mentioned that you work at a school, I totally got a mental flash of myself taking notes with those with a project on them...
Brilliant idea and VERY cute wristwarmers!
What kind of yarn did you use?

Thanks!  haha.  The yarn was Vanna's choice I think....olive green.  It's leftovers.

That is unbelievably cool. And the wristwarmers turned out cool, so they must've worked well.
And had awesome guage.
I'd be worried about the pencils breaking though. But that's just me.
