I made all my wedding stationery including the thank you cards.
My wedding had green apples in the centerpieces (you can see that here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=216170.msg2324485#msg2324485 ) and my bridal shower theme was all green apples. So I made these 1 sided cards with my own illustration to send out, with a personal message written on the back. The color is a tad washed out in these pictures, the top one shows the color more accurately.

These were also 1 sided notecards with personalized written messages on the back. The image is from one of our pictures after the ceremony when we jumped in the air. I just traced around our silhouettes and used heavy helvetica typeface for the "Thanks!" (my college profs would not approve of me warping the perfection that is helvetica...ha)

question in your opinion, do you think this gray wedding thank you card could sell? Would you mind that it isn't you specifically in the picture, or is it just ok as simply a stylized illustration of a bride and groom?

I use these as an 'all occasion' thank you card. Took my inspiration from the generic bags you get at little shops that don't print their own. But I just love the bold typographic element of those bags!

Thanks for checkin' it out Smiley

I think the stylized bride and groom are ace. What makes it work is the ecstatic poses. Given that, the gray in no way looks solemn. Great work all around.

I'm all about making all my own wedding stationary, so I love seeing what other people do. Smiley

I *love* the red thank you modeled after the throw away bags!

I also like the silhouette one... However... I don't personally think that I would buy that one because it looks like she doesn't have any hair. I know she probably has her hair in an updo, but I would personally like it better if her hair was flying because she is jumping. JMHO Smiley
