I am so chuffed with this project. Grin
I started it the other night and it didn't take long to finish. I learnt two new crochet stitches and I've made myself something that I love and will wear lots.

It's a free pattern - Ribbed Newsboy Hat

Top-love the ribbing effect

You should. It's really easy. I think I might actually make another one or 6.  Smiley

It reminds me of those hats from that television show they aired a long time ago... I think it was called Double Dare or something...

Cute hat, btw~! I think I may try that after I finish these few projects (if my friends stop making babies, that is)

OK, I did it!  What size hook did you use?  I ended up taking mine out a couple of times, it was getting so huge! But I did use an "N" hook too Smiley   Instead of taking it all apart and starting with a smaller hook, I just started decreasing size earlier.  I really like it, but the brim seems funky, isn't it supposed to go out more then down?  I want to try another now with a smaller hook, need more yarn!

I used an I hook. I had to do extra decreasing on the final round before the brim. Mine brim sits out OK, but I was a little unsure of the instruction at that part so maybe did them a little different. Grin

So where are the pics then  Grin

I bought some lovely green yarn for my next one.
