I made these pillows a while back for a friend out of scraps left over from other projects.  They were really fun to make after working on some labour intensive quilting projects... even the handstitching to close the sides was relaxing.  I am kind of proud of myself for finishing these, because usually when it comes to that last step where you have to do something by hand, I put projects in the closet where they sit for an as-yet-undetermined length of time.

That is really awesome. I like that you used really small scraps, the kind you save but think you'll never find something to do with them.

Love 'em!!!

What is that "pattern" called? Or how is it done? I've seen it before a few times and always admired it. Your pillows are amazing!

These are such a pretty way to bust your scrap collection!  Did you have a problem with bulk where all the points came together?  I notice you put in four straight pieces: were those to spread out the bulk?

They look great! Did you use a foundation? And I'm curious about the bulk in the centre, too.

Great pillows!  I too would like to know how you did them - are they paper pieced?  I'd love to try this sometime.
