So, my dad accidentally ran over his iPod and I asked him if I could have it because I just wanted to open it up and see what its insides looked like. After I opened and gutted it, I let it hang around my room for a while until I saw the post about the tape coin purse (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=222019.0) and I got inspired.

I made this to hold my ID card when I get back to school (after my ridiculously long 2 month winter break).

The front. It even has a little window!

Sides

The inside. I hot glued the zipper and fabric in place.

It fits my ID perfectly!

Thanks for looking.

What a cute idea!  Too bad iPod's aren't disposible the way cassette tapes are now.  I'm sure you won't run into anyone else with one of those (at least for a good 10-20 years)!

Hahaha. Yeah. At least he didn't use it all that much. And he was so proud when he saw what I did with it, so I think he's fine.
