These are all marvelous!!!  I am usually not a big fan of hoodies, but yours are very cool.  I especially love the buttons and ruffles.  Very nice!

Ohhhh, I'm in love!! Did you use a pattern or did you wing it - I especially love the ones with the yokes or whatever (in red with the squares on the front) - I need to make one!! I'm just really afraid of trying to do a zipper since I just got my machine for Christmas!!

thanks everyone!

i never thought about the cropped hoodie with the raven skirt, but that would be cute! actually, as i was making the third plaid hoodie, i really really wanted to make a matching high waisted pencil skirt, i think that would be an amazing outfit. i didn't, because i knew the recipient would be embarassed if i made her too much though.

i've thought about making them for other people, especially in larger sizes, because sometimes it's hard to find cute stuff for sizes 16/18+, but our society is so accustomed to paying sweatshop prices, i'm not sure it'd be work my effort. we'll see though, maybe one day!

i'm not sure a tutorial would actually work for these, it's just a matter of following a patten... i'm totally happy to answer any questions though!

BohemianSheila, i created a pattern for them, so the first few attempts at creating it were pretty much winging it! With the yokes, i had to try a few times until i got the right gathering down, etc. Zippers can be tricky on knits - baste it first!

As a plus size gal, I have to say it's hard to find cute styles - so I definitely think there'd be an interest - Especially since most tutes are for non-plus-size people and you have to adapt process. (And really you'd have a to find a minimum of a XXL to reconstruct anything!)

Thanks for the hint! I'm about ready to give this zipper thing a try this week!!

Wow, your hoodies are all so amazing!! I love the two red ones. I saw someone with a sweater on at work that had different sized vintage buttons down the front and have been trying to think of what to make with buttons like that. Now I'm inspired!

BTW, I've tried welted pockets and they are NOT easy!! Though it was a Vogue pattern and I was only 18 at the time so that may be why. Do you think you could possibly share a Welted Pocket Tute??? It will be another reason for you to maybe...make another hoodie!!
