I finally got around to making my sewing machine a cover.  I used fabric I had in my stash.  It is lined with muslin.  It isnt perfect, but it seems happy.  I'm happy too.

And I like it!  It's cute!

I love the applique!  Sooooooooo super duper cute.  Can you tell I like it?  When I see something I like, I tend to use the same adjectives over and over.  And out come the "super" and "duper" and "totally", and I end up sounding like a valley girl.

I am very envious of your sewing machine cover.  It's sew awesome.  Har har!  I couldn't resist.   Tongue

I didn't use a pattern.  All I did was measure the width and height needed for all the sides.  I sewed the front and back to the top first, then sewed the sides on.  Put the red trim on by sewing it to the wrong side of the bottom edge, and flipped it up, folded it under about a half inch. Ironed it, pinned it down and then came the rick rack.  After that I sewed the applique on.

They call me a redneck, and I reckon that I am
