Technically, only one of these is a toy but they're best friends so they stick together Smiley

I made the octopus for a friend who had her second child recently, a little boy. I got the idea on here somwhere but can't find the original post, sorry...

As I was making it, I thought it would be a shame for his older sister (a 2yo who loves cats) that she should get a little brother, born on Xmas eve as well, and no treat to make up for it, so I made her the bag.

Everything I make these days looks wonky (the lighting makes it worse though I promise!), but I'm hoping the children won't notice Smiley

If you don't mind, I would love to make that bag. It is amazing! And I'm sure that the octopus will be well loved as well.

Cute!  That's the cuddliest looking octopus I've ever seen.  I love the kitty bag.

Hughsie, please go ahead, I'd love to see your bag when you finish it!! I made a bunny one last year (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=143422.msg1411025#msg1411025) and like it best Smiley

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help!

They're both really cute, and they don't look that wonky to me!

Both are super cute! What kind of fabric is the bag made out of? I have a little girl who is a big fan of kitties and purses.

Thank you for your lovely comments, I'm glad they don't look too shabby to you!

DaisyAlly, I made both with corduroy, my favourite material I think Smiley
