Where did you get the pattern?  I'm running out of good patterns for baby sweaters and that one looks like it would be easily adaptable!

Thank you all! I had a fun time knitting and embroidering this sweater!

Thank you!  I actually have seen that pattern, I just didn't pay much attention to it.  Now that I've seen yours I've printed the pattern and I know I'll use it often!  Cheesy

I love what you did with the embroidery- it takes it from cute sweater to adorable piece.

I just got 5 skeins of that same color Bernat soy mix on sale for $2 a skein at Michael's...what do you think of it? What was it like to knit with?

Thanks!  I too bought the yarn when it was on sale at Michales. I picked up 4 skeins and used just over 3 with this sweater.  I really didn't have many complaints with the yarn, it is soft and looks nice (a lovely sheen), I did however find it really slippery to work with -always seemed to be falling off my needles. All in all though I found it to be a good yarn to work with. I like the fact that it has soy mixed with the acrylic (good for kids) and that its affordable!

What do you plan on making with it?

Thanks for the review of the yarn. I'm definitely going to make a baby sweater...I was thinking about making Trellis from knitty. I thought the color would look really nice with some wood toggle buttons- like it would give off a Starsky & Hutch type of feel. Except Baby Starsky (so probably less guns and drugs).

I think that would be absolutely perfect! Your right, wood toggles would be a nice compliment to the yarn. Good luck!
