So on new years eve I started this drawing on a t-shirt that didn't fit me at all. I loved how the drawing turned out. It's a picture from the manga Vampire kisses. I drew it on there and then used another black t-shirt to make a top. I originaly intended it to become a tube top. But it didn't fit well so I made straps.

Close up of the drawing:

And an action shot:

comments are much loved. Since it's only my third project.

Mine didn't it faded a little but it's still ok. I use the markers they sell at Joan's so I guess the quality should be ok.

Thank you so much. I read all 4 books and the manga. I don't really like the manga as much as the books. Raven seems more of a little girl in the manga not a highschool kid as in the books. But I still love the drawings Cheesy

This is awesome!!! I've been thinking about doing something like this but with a different subject...  Have you thought about adding any embellishments?

The drawing is great and I love the placement on the finished top.

BTW, I have always used Sharpies on jersey knit and have no problems with fading. I have read that one can use hairspray to 'lock' the jersey knit first so it does not pull under the felt tip and break up the lettering/image. (I believe this tip came from WIRED - which was reporting on a Japanese DIY show or site. Thank god for geeks.)

maybe lace trimming or beading? the shirt is already wonderful. if the sharpie fades (to anyone that worries)... take a paintbrush with fabric paint and go over the drawing some.. it will give a distressed but graphic look... practice on scrap fabric before trying though.
