I love the idea! I'm pretty cheap too - and moreover, all the best band t-shirts are always only mens sizes (I guess if I'm going to DIY it up anyway I could just sew them to fit, but my sewing skills are not so fantastic). Anyway, looks gorgeous, and I'll probably try it out with a few bands soon.
