1. I love love LOVE the band Southern Culture on the Skids. Most people don't know who they are, and the people who like them are at least 15 years my senior.

so I'm starting a series based on Mary Huff as the Virgin Mary. I'm addicted to painting rock stars, I try not to examine my motives to keep the subject pure 
I'm really stuck on no. 2 but I figure I'll step away and give it some time.

aaaand close-ups, I actually played this 45 til it fell apart, so when it finally bit the dust I used the stickers to Mickey by Tony Basil as accents (you know, oh mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind Hey Mickey *clap clap clap*)

I saw SCOTS for the first time in NYC. My vegetarian friend and I got to eat chicken on stage during the fried chicken song (sorry, can't remember the song....it's been about 9 years since the concert) then we got backstage and ended up partying with them all night. They were so much fun.

The pictures are awesome. Mary Huff would be proud. You should post them on their myspace.
