I was going to make the posterboy bag from stitch and bitch but as I sat down to redo my reworked picture, I wondered about crocheting it.  How does it work to crochet something like this? From what I understand, it's more sucessful to knit.  And..if so, I am assuming it's single crochet?  How do you travel with the yarn?  Same as knitting?

Well, in order to do that you have to make it into a grid. this site makes pictures into grids for you http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/

If you want to learn how to travel with the yarn when you're doing grids, i suggest you do the skull potholders in the stitch n bitch book because that's basically what you'll be doing for that picture.

yeah, I did use knit pro and actually made a graph for the crocheted version and the knit version.  they are very, very close.  I actually made one posterboy bag (knit) once (different portrait) ...but I didn't know how it would come out if it were  crocheted.  Didn't know if anyone had made one.

I don't see a need to make ka skull potholder but I'll check out my book.  thanks.
