I love your version of this dress.  I have been getting Ottobre for almost a year now and I still can't talk myself into making anything out of it.  I am so intimidated.  You did such a great job and now I am getting inspired to try to sew the dress just looking at yours.

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.

Hi Jenny, this is the exact kind of top/dress I'm looking for.  I looked in the 2008 spring Ottobre on line where you can view a slideshow of the contents but I couldn't find anything that looks like this.  On most of the pages it has Japanese Influence and on the front cover is a girl with her eyes closed, she has on a blue dress with pink trim around the neck and torso.  Is this the one I'm looking for?  I'm probably blind  Roll Eyes - but is there a pattern name or page number you could give me.  I just don't want to buy the wrong one as I'm not familiar with this magazine. Did you make any changes, or did you just go strictly by the pattern.  Sorry for all the questions but I've been looking for a pattern like this for a long time.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  By the way, I love all the projects you've done and especially this one.

Hugs from TN

Hi there Smiley Thanks for the compliment. It is from the 1/2008 issue and is #3. Hope that helps!! The original pattern has a deer embroidered on it but I opted not to add that.
