As far as pages, I'm almost tempted to say 'none' for my binding, cause I want them to be fully decorated and not worry about that left side at all.  I don't want it to look empty, regardless of where the holes will end up.  As long as there aren't grommets/eyelets or something else large and metal there, it will be fine to add my holes around the design.

If you go back to the swap announcement, "none" actually means that it's ok to put design elements on the left side, but that no embellishments should be placed there.  I think that's excactly what you want.  Let me know if you want me to change your preference.

As for working ahead -- please be aware that it might not be possible to match you up with everyone else.  People may drop out of the swap early, or something else odd might happen.  That said, I'm working on the theory that I can always do personal swaps for left over pages, so I'll definitely be working ahead.  Smiley

I was at Hobby Lobby recently and picked up a little pad of cold press water color paper. Its 140lbs, which seems to have a goodly heft to me. Its 5.5 by 8.5 so I can get 2 pages out of each sheet. For $2.99, it was a pretty good deal, I think.

Thanks for the tip! I made a special trip over to Hobby Lobby and bought the same pad, only mine ended up costing me $34.00. How the heck did that happen?  Cheesy

You could use the extra pages from the book for the number one fantastic tip in with a twist swap  Wink
My book is already pretty fat and there's no way I see doing all of those pages and fitting them back in the book.  Now I'm wondering about edges.... I want to make a hanging out of my pages so the corners need to be decorated, not embellished.

Several people have asked me to change their binding option -- I'm happy to do this, but it's getting just a tiny bit confusing for me.  Please make sure and check the first message and make sure that I have the correct binding listed for you.
