Grin This was my completed project in the t-shirt transformation swap.  My partner is a fan of clowns, so this was my design for her.  The bag itself was made with a hot pink t-shirt and the clown's ruffle collar is the sleeve and hem of a blue t-shirt.  I think he's sooo cute, I have to admit it was hard to give him away!

I'm not usually a clown person, but my gosh, that is the cutest clown ever! I love all the colors and the style. It's really great.

Wow!  Thanks for all the compliments  Smiley  I'm not really a clown person either, but I would totally carry this bag. And now that I've made him, I'll have to keep clowns in mind.  I didn't use a tut this is just a really easy way to make a bag, I think my Mom showed me years ago.
I did use fusible fleece on the t-shirt material and I used craft fuse on the lining, but not in the lining of the handles (I think Undecided).  You need to use interfacing on the t-shirt fabric so it won't stretch out and I like fusible fleece.  I always use fusible fleece or craft, even though it's more $$ the fusing makes it so much more stable.
Thanks again, have a good weekend!

So very cute, and I've never seen such a cute clown. You really put a lot of work into him!  I really like the shape of the bag. She's going to love it!
