Here's a pic of a purse that I've made recently.  I've made several of these, gave some away, even sold a few. Tell me what you think:




The one that looks black is actually a fuzzy soft yarn (how do you spell chenille???) in a very dark red.

Well, Judy, they're not lined but probably should be.  I saw a similar one and decided to figure out how to make one to my liking (love the texture of this crochet stitch).  The handles are actually little girl bracelets so they stay nice and stiff.   
One of my friends wanted some for her granddaughters who are in high school and the girls love to carry them around.
I'm always threatening to sew one onto a sweatshirt and say "see, I'm wearing a dress" (not much into dressing up, at least not in dresses)
They're big enough to hold a cell phone, a small wallet, and maybe a lipstick.

do you have the pattern written down? is there ANYWAY i could get the
pattern.Huh i have a young friend (38) who loves SMALL purses. i crochet her just a little square thingy with straps last yr & she loves it. she only carries
cell phone, cigs, & wallet. one year in the bahama's she bought a coconut purse & i had to laugh!!! didn't see how she could use it, but she does. she is one who LOVES to switches purses back & forth. also a shoes nut. now me.....i find a purse at walmart i like and use it till it falls apart.!!! LOL
any hope there is someway i could get this pattern.
