Because of it's size, it's a bit top-heavy, so there are weights to keep it from tipping over (giant bolts, glued behind a false back behind the two bottom niches).

I did not know this cool bit of information!

One of the reasons I was late mailing it is that I took it apart to add the weights.  Every time I walked past my work table, it tipped over -- which I figured was not good for an object that was supposed to hold special goodies.

We're just waiting on a couple of packages now, so I think the swap has been pretty darn successful.

I received another incredible package from Knichole!

Here's an overview:

I wanted a xyron machine to use with far side cards I make, and all my paper stuff- this makes easy "stickers" out of your pictures, ribbon, etc.
Notice how Knichole packaged everything? I love the bags, and I saved them for my next partner. (recycling, re-using.)

A "sea" star lap-ghan! I even tried using it as a "hoodie" shrug, and after I get to the hairdresser, will model it. Who knew it could work as a shrug?

sewknitter - I am glad everything fits in those bags!

I just received a very full box from sewknitter containing handwoven lovelies! I got 4 scarves and 4 big woven squares that I am going to use for table cloths. Well - one I am going to sew into a tote bag eventually. It also contained woven scraps, fancy yarns for embellishing, tags, and some yarn for doing whatever with. It is all SO LOVELY!!! I promise pics will follow shortly.

Oooh, I can't wait to see the handwoven stuff!  I've been looking for a loom so I can learn to weave...I'm sorta desperate about it, actually!
