I did get spoiled to the ninth degree! I was one of the lucky ones to get the flu bug, which we think has now turned into bronchitis!
I have been wearing this hat for the past few days to keep my head warm, and I can't tell you enough how much I love it and   everything!!! The cross stitch is going in the craft room once I feel a little better to redecorate and the Day of the Dead sculpture is already in the Dod cabinet! Thank you so much Sundayafternoonhousewife for a lovely package of goodness! Thank you for being a FABULOUS partner!

Here's a couple of the items in action!

Mrs. Sicky loves her hat!

Isn't it just wonderful!!! Smiley

The color way on these is FABULOUS!!!!! xoxoxo

I received from santacruzsugar yesterday!! I've got about a trillion pictures so just bare with me. (Bear? Bare? I don't know! Cheesy) Here's the entire package:

Next up we've got the most awesome bag in the entire world! This must have taken suuuuuch a long time to make! I really appreciate it though and I really, really love it. I can not stop looking at it, seriously. I've been trying to decide which strip is my favorite. Okay, here's pics of all the sides (except the bottom which is also woven and there's little nubs attached so the bag doesn't sit directly on anything) and the inside:

Inside the bag there was this lovely paper box:

It held some candles. They smell so good! I don't even want to burn them, I just want them to live inside my bags so they always smell really good when I open them:

Inside the pocket there was some metallic floss and a card. I've been wanting to try metallic floss for so long. Now I'm stumped on what to use it for, but I'll come up with something. The card she made is super cute. I love owls!

Last, but definitely not least, we've got the Lorax bag. Josh, my boyfriend, just about crapped when he saw it!  Cheesy He loves the Lorax. This is such a great bag! I've been wanting one like this, that I can close by putting one handle over the other, so this is perfect. I used it today and everyone that saw it commented on how cute it is.

Thank you so much Mel! It's one of the best swap packages I've ever received. I really do love every single thing.  Smiley

You're welcome! I'm glad you liked everything!

The Lorax is my favorite Dr. Suess....I was wanting to do something with him on it for a while, and i figure a re-usable bag would be great for it.

and i think its bare....lol.

I got my package! I got my package! I got my package!   Grin

I am so happy! I am so happy! I am so happy!  Grin

Ok - first off, now that I got my package - I again owe iheartcapnhook more loot as she sent me so much awesomeness!

where to begin!

first - I opened up my box and this is what I pulled out:

isn't she wonderful! my very first own poppet! I can't decide on a name so I may have to learn how to make them and create my own little poppet family!

and dressed in a cute little dress that matches the rest of the items in my package!  Shocked

here she is admiring the fabric bowl that matches her dress - I have no idea how this was made, but it is wonderful. I will have to find a really fabulous place for it, because my dear poppet has taken up residence in it for now, LOL!

bottom of the bowl is as amazing as the inside!  Cheesy

and then there is this lovely bag! I don't usually like yellow so much, but this is a lovely color - and very fitting as my last name is yellows spelled backwards, LOL! This tote was what I was expecting - and it is so much more than I asked for! - so everything else is gravy! LOL!   Grin

outside:

bottom:

and poppet dear wants to see what else is inside! I think she is a bit of an exhibitionist as her skirt keeps flying up in the back and she doesn't seem to mind one bit...

really big pockets for all my jewelry making supplies! (I will add action shots once I fill it up in a couple of days - have to decide what goes where)

and this adorable thing:

it is:

a beautifully done fabric covered pad holder! and it is just the right size for me to put my receipt pads in! there was a pen with it too - but somehow the pen didn't make it into the pics  Embarrassed

all the loot together, so well coordinated!

I am one spoiled individual!

I think I am going to name my poppet something light and airy in nature, but I keep trying to figure out what those tiny spring butterflys that are yellow and white and pastel colored are called because that is what she makes me think of most...

guess I will have to google butterflies and hope they have a pretty and dainty name!
