I've been making a lot of these aprons lately. I finally worked out a design that is fairly simple and easy to recreate but well made and I think really cute. I like that I can combine my screen printing and sewing and also use up my ridiculous stash of tenugui dish towels from the Marukai 98 cent store. Each apron uses exactly one tenugui for the pocket and the ties.

I love how the fabrics all match the pictures - wave type things for the octopus, oriental writing (I was going to say Japanese but I'm no expert so that's probably wrong) for the blowfish and spirals for the snail Cheesy they all go raelly really well. Really cute, well done Smiley

Thanks so much for the compliments everyone.

The fabric on the blowfish one actually has the characters in Japanese for different types of fish.  I actually didn't realize that until after I made the apron and looked up the translations online.  Weird coincidence huh?
