I graphed out a couple versions of Green Lantern rings this morning, then had to make one of them.

The ones on the left are Kyle type rings, and the ones on the right are Hal type rings. (oh yeah.. I'm a comic geek)
I did the Hal ring on the top right in odd count peyote, then stitched just the motif/logo and square stitched that on the ring. Extend the ring part as long as you need to fit around your finger.

A close up so you can see a bit more of the detail and how it's layered.

Stitched in Japanese cylinder beads, with silamide and a size 12 sharp (short) needle.
Thanks for looking!

A Wonder Woman bracelet I made, if you scroll down in the comments a bit, there's a pattern for that too if she likes Wonder Woman.
Thanks you for the nice comments!

Wow, that was you too?!  How awesome!  I actually posted on that thread.  My sis is a WW fan.  I think it was too ambitious for me, but the ring is a definite must try!  Smiley

You really do awesome work!

*grins* well, if you download the pdf, there are a couple smaller patterns in there for earrings or pendants, brickstitched. Thank you for the compliment!!

Bigfatroses- With all the drama and universal resets in the Marvel universe, I'm slowly bringing mine over to DC, today we only got 2 Marvel comics, the rest were all DC. I think I need to graph a Blue Beetle WWTKD bracelet next!!!

I love this ring! My boyfriend and I are both big comic geeks (though he is far more comittted than I), and he's already expressed a true desire for his own Green Lantern ring. In fact, with the upcoming release of the different color-oriented Lanterns, I'm even suggesting how awesome Lantern-style engagement/wedding rings would be (you know...someday...Tongue). Great job!

HauntedCookieJar- Oh! I want to see it when you're done!!

bluberryfields3- The other day, after my daughter called me to tell me there was a problem with my computer, my dh said to me "You have the power to instill much fear. Welcome to the Sinistro Corp." He's *really* loving the Green Lantern story line. He's much more into comics then I am, but gosh.. we do spend a lot on them. I also have a pattern for a Legion Flight Ring I need to make up soon.

Beadizzygrl- No problem. Smiley I just finished a pattern for a Superman logo and a pattern for a Nightwing amulet bag that's got the animated version of Nightwing's emblem on one side, and the Silver Age Robin emblem on the other. Now I just need plastic bat beads!! I'll probably do the Superman first since I have all the beads for that. If you're interested in those patterns, just let me know.

Cool Shala.  If you cannot find any bat beads, you could always make them from polymer clay?
And so glad to see ya here!
