All right, I've been a lurker forever, so

So, I've been a bridesmaid/maid of honor a few times, and it just keeps happening more and more frequently. o_0 But THIS time, I got to make my dress! [best bride EVER.] I think it turned out pretty well, I love the color.

w/ the date.

me being ridiculous...

back view...

me and the rest of the ladies. sorry it's kind of a crappy photo, it was scanned in. My dress was different from the others b/c I was the maid of honor, but I used the same dark green fabric that the other brides-babes' dresses were made out of for my sash in to coordinate. I did use the wrong side out though, because I thought matte look would go better with the dupioni.

thanks for looking!

The colors look really good on you. I like that you used to matte side, doesn't pull all your attention to it and away from the rest of the dress that way.

My goodness, that is gorgeous, and just like a dress I saw in a shop here for 200 or so. I'm going to have to ask if you used a pattern!

If you used a pattern, what pattern was it?
