Late Arrival (by Mister Reusch)

So my sister has serious cupcake addiction - though she doesn't really like to eat them, just to see them! (Strange yet true). I had some really cute fabric, she had "long wallet" on her Christmas list... and a star was born.

I used a long wallet that I bought as a semi-template...

Here's the front (with elastic attachment)

And then the inside (2 paper money pockets, and 6 card pockets)

Here's a closer and a bit blurry look at the upper paper money pocket (it's underneath the card pockets!)

And then the back, with a zippered coin pocket, and a cute PMC cupcake zipper pull that I got from Shop the Swap! (If I remember rightly, it was kitschkween's handiwork...)

Cute and clever!  I have just had an epiphany about a riff on your project.  I hope you don't mind if I make something slightly similar.  As for your sister, I completely understand.  I called my ex "Peaches" and I don't even really like peaches all that much.  I really liked him at the time, though, don't let the "ex" part fool you.  Also, my current squeeze has a dog named Olive and he doesn't like olives for eating.

Thanks for the nice words.

And yes indeed, it's Canadian money! (Except neither my sister or I had another bill, so the second "bill" is actually a receipt! Haha...).

Haha.. MistressT... I love your analogy. I think Peaches is a decent petname, whether or not you're a peach fan Wink

And the fabric I actually believe I got in a swap and have been hoarding it for quite some time! (I still have some left to make something for me too though!)
