My boyfriend and I love scrabble so I decided to make him these scrabble coasters as a Christmas/getting an apt together gift. I didn't want the coasters to just be a bunch of random letters so I came up with a list of words that have to do with drinking (types of drinks, types of glasses etc.) I also didn't want the coasters to be huge so I needed the words to be five letters or less. Making the list was easy; arranging the words so that they connect like in scrabble was a little more difficult.  I made six different coasters all with different words. I took one picture of all six (it didn't turn out the best) and I took three close ups of the coasters I liked the best. Here is my completed project. Although he loved them he still forgets to use a coaster most of the time!

I still have some vintage greeting cards left, mostly Christmas ones.  PM me if you're interested in taking some.

These are pretty fantastic! Did you have to buy up a whole bunch of Scrabble games to make them? Or, did you have another source for the letters. I think my SIL would love these...

Yay, Jess, your first project post! I love your coasters. They're even cooler than I imagined them. Awesome job!
