Anyone interested in working on the lil' red riding hoodie from the domiknitrix book? (http://www.domiknitrix.com/prj/lilredhoodie.cfm).  I've been working on it for a while now and I could sure use some commiseration  Grin.  This is my first sweater, lifted increase, short row shaping etc.

I'm thinking of casting on soon.  I'm in need of some decent yarn though.  I have some red cotton and teal cotton that I sort of like, but don't want to go decide halfway through that I don't like it!

the only thing that has put me off knitting this is the fact that its in chunky wool, not hugely flattering on my 4ft 11" body!

would love to know how anyone elses has worked out  (theres only this & elfin that i actually like in the book, i use it as a reference as the front 'how to' part is really useful - the actual patterns i was disappointed in!)

I'm using lamb's pride in chunky and it doesn't seem that boxy.  I think the shaping in the pattern will really help.  I am sort of generous in the chest area but smallish in the waist area so I was a little wary at first but it looks like it will turn out ok.
