Finally, my camera's back from being fixed, so here's what I made the other week. I sketched it while watching project runway, and then made it. Didn't use a pattern, I never do.
Made out of purple cotton, with a full-ish skirt, lined with grey/silver taffeta. There's this fuschia velvet ribbon down the sides of the zip, hand sewed =] And these little tucks on the bust. I adore the details.

I was going to put straps on it, but decided not to. Should I? Constructive criticism?

If it's staying up fine on its own, I'd forgo the straps. It looks really good as is (and I'm personally a huge fan of holes in tights)

about da straps i donno... i think it looks good without... but do u feel comfortable ? like can u move (like really move) and it still stays? if it stays- forget da straps ...
