Great job! One question, though: how do you read while you knit?

I can do simple patterns without having to look at what I'm doing.  Since this skirt was almost nothing but plain stockinette, it wasn't that hard for me.  I just use my fingers to feel what I'm doing.  Also, I have a metal thing that I bought a school bookstore a while back that's meant for holding open text books, but worked for my paperback as well.

If it lives in the water or flies in the air, I'm in love with it. In New Zealand I saw a flying fish and almost wet myself.

I have to say that I never really liked this pattern, but I just love your version! You did a great job and, wow, I wish I could rock a knitted skirt like you! Smiley
