My 2 brothers are Marines, made this for my mom. I know it's not a real "quilt" but I'm getting there!

Have embroidery machine, will do personal swaps. I can embroider hundreds of designs, some logos. Tinkerbell, Mickey, names etc. PM me!!!

I think it definitely counts as a quilt and it's very lovely.  While I don't actual have anyone in my family currently serving, a few of my friends have family members in the service and I think it's wonderful to see the support here.  You should be proud.

Did you use iron ons or did you appliqué those pieces from fabric?  I'd like to make one like this for my DH's room when he goes to Korea next month.

Thank you so much for the offer!  My neighbor's mom has an embroidery machine though so she's my go to gal for that.  Now that I know your secret   Grin I can't wait to get started!
